Doctor Pamela Daffern has practiced medicine for over 20 years, specializing in allergy, asthma, and immunology. She graduated in 1985 with an M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She completed training in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico in 1988 and then entered into specialty training in allergy at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. After completing the allergy fellowship, she remained at the Scripps Research Institute where she conducted research and engaged in patient care. In 1999, she moved to Richmond for a teaching and clinical research position as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, & Immunology, Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV). In 2003, Dr. Daffern entered private practice and in the same year she was recognized in "America's Top Physicians - Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology". She was voted by physician colleagues in Virginia to "Best Doctors" in the Richmond Area for allergy care in 2007-2008 and 2009-2010.
Wendy Bond received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the Medical College of Virginia / Virginia Commonwealth University in 1992. She attended graduate school at The University of Virginia where she earned the degree of Master of Science in Nursing in 1999. She graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program of the University of Virginia in 1999, and is certified to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to joining Dr. Daffern in 2005, her background included Emergency Medicine (Medical College of Virginia), Cardiology, and Family Practice.
