Pamela Doctor Pamela Daffern has practiced medicine for over 20 years, specializing in allergy, asthma, and immunology. She graduated in 1985 with an M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She completed training in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico in 1988 and then entered into specialty training in allergy at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. After completing the allergy fellowship, she remained at the Scripps research Institute where she conducted research and engaged in patient care. In 1999, she moved to Richmond for a teaching position as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, & Immunology, Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV). In 2003, Dr. Daffern started private practice full-time when she joined Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center. She was first recognized in "America's Top Physicians - Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology" in 2003. She was voted by physician colleagues in Virginia to "Best Doctors" in the Richmond Area for allergy care in 2007-2008.
